How to Faux Paint

It is very important to know how to faux paint efficiently and perfectly. The most important aspect of faux finish is to have a lucrative and royal finishing on the walls, rooms in various patterns and varieties including techniques like sponge, dragging etc. The term faux is actually derived from French meaning false.

To know how to faux paint, it is important to first paint the room wall with a solid back ground color which can act as a good base for ideal paint with a faux feel. Now, a glaze is prepared from the same acrylic color and it is poured into a roller bay to start the faux finish process.  Now you must choose from different techniques of faux painting and paint the room with the selected technique. For starters, they must use sponging and ragging as they are the easiest ones for walls with irregular finishes. It is also imperative that ideal faux finish should be accomplished after a practical demonstration of the technique is observed in the card board. At last, the last step in how to faux paint is to apply the glaze over the wall as per the mentioned technique and get a smooth faux painting on your walls. Ideally to get good performance, faux friendly glaze should be used to enhance the chances of smooth faux finish.

The two other famous techniques apart from faux paint walls are the faux paint brick and faux marble paint technique applied for bricks and marbles respectively. These are advanced forms and should be tried after a success full faux painting on walls. The specialized faux finish technique ensures that smooth finishing is done on bricks and marbles to increase their shine and visibility. It is imperative that while people should know how to faux paints, they must follow all the instructions and do their home work of preparing the wall before faux techniques are applied.
